The Brantry in Taupo is an award winning restaurant that has built its reputation on top quality New Zealand cuisine that is not only unique but has a sophisticated wine list to accompany each main, to create a memorable dining experience.
The restaurant is run by the well known Taupo sisters, Prue and Felicity Campbell. Prue is an experienced chef who has spent time training overseas and won a number of Beef and Lamb Cuisine Awards and the even higher honour of being selected as one of the five top chefs in New Zealand and was named as a Beef and Lamb Ambassador.
Felicity has also spent time overseas in the hospitality industry, and runs the front of house with a very professional, knowledgeable and welcoming team.
The food at The Brantry is described as Contemporary New Zealand cuisine that is influenced by the wealth of fresh produce available.
With this in mind our passionate kitchen team changes the menu frequently to reflect the freshest seasonal fare available to create innovative, full flavoured cuisine that our patrons enjoy and our chefs are inspired by.The Brantry offers an ideal environment for conference groups of up to 60 people. The Brantry has a functional layout with all the amenities and delicious catering options from our award winning restaurant.
The Brantry is open for dinner from 5:30pm, five nights a week (closed Sunday and Monday) February to November and seven days through December and January but closed on Statutory Holidays. Bookings are essential.
